Kindly be informed we request full payment as our payment policy is as follows –

  • Pay an advance or full payment at the time of making the booking.
  • Balance payments must be pay full amount prior to departure date. (It will adjust type of tour) Karusan Holidays reserves the right to alter or change already published prices on the quotations without notice in the event of currency fluctuation, government taxes, or any such costs increases that is outside Holidays.
  • If you prefer to pay for your booking with a bank transfer, please contact Karusan Holidays and send us all the information regarding the booking, names of passengers, flight, accommodation and Departure / arrival date.
  •  Some bookings are confirmed instantly. However, packages that include overnight accommodation and transportation charges are may take a bit higher. So please try to contact our sales representatives before two business days (48 hours) to re-confirm the booking.
  • The travel documents will be delivered to you once the full payment has been received. You will receive your travel documents: e-tickets, vouchers and itinerary via email or you can collect it at our office. And please print out these documents, as you will need to show them for all services during your visit.
  • If you wish to pay for your booking with a credit card or any debit card, a bank service charge of 3% applies and will be added to the final invoice amount.
  • All Prices quoted on Karusan Holidays are in Rupees (LKR) and per person, unless otherwise specified. All payments and refunds are due in Rupees. Karusan Holidays is not responsible for any changes in currency exchange rates that might occur from the time of booking until a refund is made.

DAY 01 – ARRIVAL TO HANOI.

Welcome to Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by your guide for private transfer to your hotel (approx. 45 mins) for check-in. Please note standard check-in time is at 14:00. Vietnam’s capital Hanoi blends old world charm with the dynamic bustle of new Asia. Its French colonial past is evident from the colonial architecture and enchanting lakes which contrast with the throng of thousands of motorbikes and cosmopolitan new restaurants and boutiques. To the north of central Hoan Kiem Lake lies the frenetic maze of narrow streets of the Old Quarter while to the south are the broad tree-lined boulevards and majestic buildings of the French Quarter. Rest of your day is free at leisure.


DAY 02 – FULL DAY HANOI CITY TOUR (JOIN-IN)

Breakfast at your hotel and 8:00 – 8:30 AM meet up at your hotel in Hanoi starts this wonderful day of exploration. First you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum* and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Next door to here is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, the Presidential Place and the One Pillar Pagoda (Mot Cot) which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. According to legend, the pagoda’s shape was inspired by the lotus flower and this structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam). Then visit Bat Trang, a local pottery village (Monday, Wednesday & Friday only) before enjoying a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, visit the Ethnology Museum (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday only), the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam) which is Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070. You will enjoy its well-preserved architecture and a relaxing walk in its gardens. Then continue to the wonderful Hoan Kiem Lake and walk across the famous red wooden bridge to visit Ngoc Son Temple set on a tiny island. For the last part of the tour explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also called the “36 streets” referring to the different categories of products which used to be sold in each street.
The tour ends around 15:30 – 16:00 with a return transfer your hotel.


DAY 03 – FULL DAY HALONG TOUR (JOIN-IN)

Breakfast at your hotel. At 8:00 – 8:30am you will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi to enjoy the picturesque countryside during the drive to Ha Long Bay (Approx. 3.5 hours). A toilet/refreshment stop will be made along the way. Upon arrival, embark for a 4hour boat trip on a traditional Vietnamese junk and cruise through the huge limestone rocks on the Bay’s emerald water.
After lunch, visit one of the most beautiful caves of the Bay called Thien Cung Cave. At the end of the afternoon the boat takes you back to the harbor where your minibus will be waiting to take you back to Hanoi (arrival around 20:30).


DAY 04 – HALONG – HANOI – HUE

Breakfast at your hotel. transfer to airport for your flight to Hue (suggested flight: VN1543@08:30-09:45). Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel (approx. 30mins) for check-in. Hue was the nation’s capital under the Nguyen Dynasty emperors for 150 years until the early 20th Century and today the historic monuments and imperial architecture add to its laidback charm. The city boasts a wonderful location along the banks of the Song Huong River (Perfume River), relatively quiet streets and a locally famous cuisine. Its most famous sites include the Imperial Citadel, Forbidden Purple City and Thien Mu Pagoda which together have been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Afternoon, start your tour of Hue with a visit to the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument take a cyclo ride through the ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come to relax, full of lotus flowers in Summer, there are many local style coffee shops around the lake where university students come to study. Drive onto Thien Mu Pagoda, constructed in 1601, the 21-metre tall tower is the centrepiece of the pagoda.


DAY 05- : HUE – DANANG

Breakfast at your hotel. Check out from hotel before 12:00. Leave Hue for Danang (140km /approx 2.5 hrs). You will take the scenic route over the Hai Van Pass, also known as the Pass of Ocean Clouds, and through the fishing village of Lang Co – a very picturesque journey. In the afternoon, drive to Marble Mountain to visit stone sculpture villages and Am Phu Cave.


DAY 06 – FULL DAY DA NANG

After breakfast, transfer to Ba Na hills and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting golden bridge, held up by two enormous stone-colored hands. The bridge opened in June 2018, is 150 metres long and 1,400 metres above sea level, with views across the green mountainscape. Continue visit Nginh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar, wine tasting fee is not included), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda. This afternoon, at leisure to enjoy games at Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games (2 hours). Then, go to visit Linh Ung Pagoda.


DAY 7 – DANANG – HO CHI MINH CITY

09:00 Transfer to Danang airport (approx 45mins) for flight to Ho Chi Minh City (suggested flight: VN117@10:00-11:25 – TBC) Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel (approx 30mins) for check-in. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Commonly referred to as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s largest city and undisputed commercial capital. It is a dynamic city that is currently enjoying the fruits of Vietnam’s economic boom – lavish hotels, decadent restaurants and trendy nightspots are continually added to the cityscape. Yet against the backdrop of new-found confidence, frenetic development and urban bustle, the boutique charm of Ho Chi Minh City still lives on amongst the tree-lined boulevards, quaint wooden shops, old temples and colonial architecture.
In the afternoon visit the War Remnants and the former Presidential Palace, from there stroll (your vehicle will be available at all times) to the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. At the end of the afternoon head back to your hotel or alternatively be dropped off at Ben Thanh market for personal exploration and a spot of souvenir hunting.


DAY 08 – FULL DAY MEKONG DELTA TOUR (JOIN-IN)

8:00 Transfer pick-ups from the below locations, travel by shuttle bus to My Tho – 9:30 AM board a wooden motor boat to Unicorn Island.
Whilst sailing on this boat you’ll be passing through natural creeks and quiet villages and watch rural people going to work. You will see an interesting fishermen’s port and see the traditional stilt houses. One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a large orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyment. Another boat stop is at Turtle Island, here, on a small row boat, you’ll see interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around. From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea whilst checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
After that we’ll take you to a village where you can smell the flavor of coconut candies being made many yards away. This is a great chance to witness how village people make candy and handcrafted items from coconuts, these locals can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees.
At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to HO CHI MINH CITY. Later, transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Please note standard check-out time is 12:00. (Suggested flight after 22:30
