It is the world’s largest island country and more than seventeen thousand islands around Indonesian boarder. Over 261 million people in Indonesia and it is the world’s 4th most populous country. The most populous Muslim-majority country.

Indonesia’s culture is shaped by the long interaction between original indigenous customs and foreign influences. Indonesia is centered on ancient trade routes between the East, South Asia and the Middle East and as a counter cultural, many cultural practices are strongly influenced by various religions including Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Christianity.

Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago, with 18,330 islands, of which 6,000 are inhabited. Indonesia has 167 active volcanoes, more than any other country. The beaches of the world’s largest archipelago are also a major draw. Apart from the obvious, such as Bali and Lombok, there are some more amazing beaches in places that are not under attack.
WEATHER IN INDONESIA –
Indonesia has two seasons as a wet season and a dry season with no extremes of summer or winter. For most of Indonesia, the dry season falls between April and October and the wet season between November and March in the year.
