Arrive Varanasi and welcome by our represent officer at Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Varanasi Hotel.
DAY 02 – VARANASI – BODHGAYA (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER) > 5-6 HRS DRIVE
AM visit Saranath, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon after attaining enlightenment and becoming a Buddha. After gaining Enlightenment, Sakyamini traveled 250 kilometers from Bodhgaya to Varanasi seeking his five companions who had abandoned him at Rajgir. He found them at a deer park of Saranath. After Lunch, drive to Bodhgaya, on arrival check-into The Hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Bodhgaya.
DAY 03 – BODHGAYA (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)
Morning visit Mahabodhi Temple for Danna/Religious activities. Later visit various temples in Bodhgaya, Here in about 500 BC, Lord Buddha sat beneath a Bodhi Tree to meditate, vowing to get up only if he attained supreme enlightenment. Visit Mahabodhi Temple stands in the center crowned by a pointed spire flanked by four corner turrets. A chamber on top houses a figure of Mayadevi, the Buddha’s mother. Outside in the sunken courtyard stands the fifth generation Bodhi Tree. Seven spots within the temple are sacred because it was at each of these spots spent a week meditating after attaining Enlightenment. Also, visit Great Buddha Statue & Sujatha Temple, Durgeshwari mountain. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 – BODHGAYA – RAJGIR / NALANDA – VAISHALI (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER) > 6 HRS DRIVE + 4 HRS EN-ROUTE VISITS
Morning drive to Vaishali, via cover Rajgir, Girdkut Hill, World Peace Stupa, ruins of Bhimbisar Jail. Visit Ruins of world’s ancient Nalanda University. Overnight stay at Vaishali.
DAY 05 – VAISHALI – KUSHINAGAR (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER) > 7 HRS DRIVE + 2 HRS – ENROUTE VISIT
Morning drive to Kushinagar. En route visit Vaishali, where five years after his enlightenment, Budha was received here by the Lichchavi nobility. Vaishali was one of the first republican states in the world it was in Vaishali that women were for the first time ordained into the Sangha. Later continue drive to Kushinagar, on arrival check in at The Royal Residency. Later visit Kushinagar, where Buddha chose to leave his corporeal body at the Sal grove on the banks of the Hiranyavati River. Visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple, which stands amidst a serene Sal grove, as if still reminiscing of the great demise. It enshrines a six-meter long statue of the Buddha in the Parinirvana posture. Evacuated in 1876 AD is a momentous sight. Also visit Rambhar Stupa – where Lord Buddha was cremated. Dinner & overnight at Kushinagar.
DAY 06 – KUSHINAGAR – LUMBINI – SRAVASTI (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER) > 12 HRS DRIVE + ENRUOTE 4-5 HRS VISITS
Early morning drive to Lumbini. Complete immigration formalities at Borders (Ensure Double Entry Visa for India & SGL Entry for Nepal). Visit Baby Buddha Birth Place. Afternoon drive to Sravasti. Entoute visit Kapilavasthupura. Evening on arrival checking to Hotel.
DAY 07 – SRAVASTI – VARANASI (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER) 8 HRS DRIVE
Morning visit Sravasti, Jetwana, Anand Bodhi Tree Angulimal Caves & Sri Lanka Temple. After early lunch drive to Varanasi and check-into Hotel.
DAY 08 – VARANASI-DEP (BREAKFAST)
After Breakfast, free with your own activities and evening transfer to airport in time to connect your return flight.
