DAY 01 – ARRIVE COCHIN
Arrival to Cochin International Airport and warmly welcome by our local guide. transfer to Hotel in Kerala. Overnight stay at Kerala.
DAY 02 – COCHIN – ALLEPPEY
Morning transfer to Alleppey to board your Private A/C Bedroom Houseboat (A/C Operates in Bedroom at Night from 9 PM to 7 AM) for a cruise on the Backwaters. The complex network of lagoons, lakes, rivers and canals fringing the coast of Kerala forms the basis of a distinct regional lifestyle. After Lunch Enjoy a cruise on the emerald palm fringed backwaters of Kerala. Dinner & Overnight on board your Houseboat.
DAY 03 – ALLEPPEY – KUMARAKOM (BACKWATERS RESORT)
Morning after another short cruise, proceed to your Backwater Resort, located at massive Vembanand Lake in serene surroundings at Kumarakom. Check-into Abad Whispering Palms Resort to enjoy a relaxing day or you may indulge in various activities at your Resort. You may also try famous Ayurvedic Massage at your own costs. Overnight at your resort.
DAY 04 – KUMARAKOM – COCHIN
Morning drive to Cochin. Visit St. Francis Church, oldest European built church in India, constructed in 1503 by Portugues San Franciscan friars. In 1779 the Protestant Dutch replaced original wooden building with stone masonry. Later walk around the Jew Street & visit Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fri/Sat), built in 1568 AD, and is the oldest in the common-wealth. It was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1662, but rebuilt by the Dutch 2 years later. It is adorned by hundreds of blue and white hand-painted tiles. Visit 1555 Portuguese built Mattancherry Palace which was gifted to Maharaja of Kochi as a good-will gesture to ensure trade privileges. The Palace is now a Museum (Friday Closed). Continue to giant Chinese Fishing nets at the harbor’s entrance that silhouetted against sunset, present a magnificent sight of the water-front. Overnight Abad Plaza.
DAY 05 – COCHIN – DEPARTURE
After Breakfast, time for shopping, your hotel is located on the famous M.G.Road, shopping area, to walk around on own. (Hotel Check-Out time is 12 Noon). Later in time transfer to Cochin airport for your return flight.
