DAY 01 – ARRIVAL TO HANOI.
Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by your guide for private transfer to your hotel (approx. 35mins) for check-in. Hotel check-in time: 14:00. Evening Free at leisure for the rest of day.
Vietnam’s capital Hanoi blends old world charm with the dynamic bustle of new Asia. Its French colonial past is evident from the colonial architecture and enchanting lakes which contrast with the throng of thousands of motorbikes and cosmopolitan new restaurants and boutiques. To the north of central Hoan Kiem Lake lies the frenetic maze of narrow streets of the Old Quarter while to the south are the broad tree-lined boulevards and majestic buildings of the French Quarter.

DAY 02 – FULL DAY HANOI CITY
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum* to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place, Ho Chi Minh former residence. Next door to here is the One Pillar Pagoda (Mot Cot) which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. According to legend, the pagoda’s shape was inspired by the lotus flower and this structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then visit to the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam. Being Vietnam’s first university, the place was initially constructed in 1070, their gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.
Afternoon visit museum of Ethnology. The museum consists of documents, antiques and photos of culture and rite of several ethnic communities from the North to the South of Vietnam. It is also well-known for its outdoor exhibition area, at which you could see real house or tombs of some minor groups in Vietnam. (Museum closed on Mondays)
Transfer pass to The Opera House to the wonderful Hoan Kiem Lake and walk across the famous red wooden bridge to visit Ngoc Son Temple set on a tiny island. This is the perfect opportunity for a memorable photograph. After Walking in the Old Quarter to explore and shopping. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 03- FULL DAY HANOI – HA LONG BAY – HANOI
The Wonders of Halong. Embark for a memorable boat cruise in the heart of the mythical Halong Bay. Translated as the “Bay of Descending Dragons”, the legend says that dragons came to protect the people against the invaders and created the stunning limestone rocks rising from the sea. Set off on the adventure of a lifetime, sailing through the wonderful rocky islands and natural caves of this breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Breakfast at hotel. Your driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi to drive to Halong via new highway. Upon arrival, embark for a 4-hour boat trip on a traditional Vietnamese junk and cruise through the huge limestone rocks on the Bay’s emerald water.
After a seafood lunch on board (Vietnamese set menu), visit one of the most beautiful caves of the Bay called Thien Cung Cave.
The tiny islands are dotted with innumerable beaches and caves that make an excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the boat deck. At the end of the afternoon the boat takes you back to the harbor where your car will be waiting to take you back to Hanoi via new highway. Dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 04 – HANOI DEPARTURE
Enjoy your final breakfast at your hotel, take a walk or get some last-minute souvenirs before your check out, when your driver will meet you to assist with luggage and take you to the airport for your departure flight.
