Kerala is a state in south-west Malabar, India. It was established on November 1, 1956, after the reorganization of the State Act incorporating Malayalam-speaking areas. With an area of 38,863 square kilometers (15,005 square miles), Kerala is 22^nd largest region in India.

PAYMENT POLICY, TERMS & CONDITION –

Kindly be informed we request full payment as our payment policy is as follows –

Pay an advance or full payment at the time of making the booking.
Balance payments must be pay full amount prior to departure date. (It will adjust type of tour) Karusan Holidays reserves the right to alter or change already published prices on the quotations without notice in the event of currency fluctuation, government taxes, or any such costs increases that is outside Holidays.
If you prefer to pay for your booking with a bank transfer, please contact Karusan Holidays and send us all the information regarding the booking, names of passengers, flight, accommodation and Departure / arrival date.
Some bookings are confirmed instantly. However, packages that include overnight accommodation and transportation charges are may take a bit higher. So please try to contact our sales representatives before two business days (48 hours) to re-confirm the booking.
The travel documents will be delivered to you once the full payment has been received. You will receive your travel documents: e-tickets, vouchers and itinerary via email or you can collect it at our office. And please print out these documents, as you will need to show them for all services during your visit.
If you wish to pay for your booking with a credit card or any debit card, a bank service charge of 3% applies and will be added to the final invoice amount.
All Prices quoted on Karusan Holidays are in Rupees (LKR) and per person, unless otherwise specified. All payments and refunds are due in Rupees. Karusan Holidays is not responsible for any changes in currency exchange rates that might occur from the time of booking until a refund is made.

CANCELLATION:

If you cancel your bookings, we will charge a cancellation fee as follows:

Prior to tour arrival date (FIT customers / under 14 pax)

By 15 days No charge
By 14 days to 8 days 50% of tour charge
By 7 days to 4 days 80% of tour charge
By 3 days to on the day 100% of tour charge

Prior to tour arrival date (Group customers / above 15 pax)

By 30 days No charge
By 29 days to 15 days 20% of tour charge
By 14 days to 7 days 50% of tour charge
By 6 days to on the day 100% of tour charge

DAY 01 – ARRIVE COCHIN

Arrival to Cochin International Airport and warmly welcome by our local guide. transfer to Hotel in Kerala. Overnight stay at Kerala.

DAY 02 – COCHIN – ALLEPPEY

Morning transfer to Alleppey to board your Private A/C Bedroom Houseboat (A/C Operates in Bedroom at Night from 9 PM to 7 AM) for a cruise on the Backwaters. The complex network of lagoons, lakes, rivers and canals fringing the coast of Kerala forms the basis of a distinct regional lifestyle. After Lunch Enjoy a cruise on the emerald palm fringed backwaters of Kerala. Dinner & Overnight on board your Houseboat.

DAY 03 – ALLEPPEY – COCHIN

Enjoy another short cruise & after Breakfast, check-out from Houseboat, transfer 2 hrs to Cochin. After Visit St. Francis Church, the oldest European built church in India, constructed in 1503 by Portugues San Franciscan friars. In 1779 the Protestant Dutch replaced original wooden building with stone masonry. Later walk around the Jew Street & visit Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fri/Sat), built in 1568 AD, and is the oldest in the common-wealth. It was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1662, but rebuilt by the Dutch 2 years later. It is adorned by hundreds of blue and white hand-painted tiles. Visit 1555 Portuguese built Mattancherry Palace which was gifted to Maharaja of Kochi as a good-will gesture to ensure trade privileges. The Palace is now a Museum (Friday Closed). Continue to giant Chinese Fishing nets at the harbor’s entrance that silhouetted against sunset, present a magnificent sight of the water-front. Overnight at Hotel Abad Plaza.

DAY 04 – DEPARTURE FROM COCHIN

After Breakfast, time free for shopping, your hotel is located on the famous M.G.Road, shopping area, to walk around on own. (Hotel Check-Out time is 12 Noon). Later in time transfer to Cochin airport for your return flight.
